Video: Anniversary Of First Portuguese Immigrants
An event was held today [Nov 4] to celebrate the 176th anniversary of the first arrival of Portuguese immigrants to Bermuda.
In advance of the event, a spokesperson said, “Bermuda will come together to celebrate the rich history and enduring contributions of the Portuguese community at this year’s Celebration of the Arrival of the Portuguese Community. Join us as we honour 176 years of Portuguese heritage; a story woven into Bermuda’s culture through hard work, family, and tradition.”
