Alexcie Burrows Leads VSU To Victory
Bermudian tennis player Alexcie Burrows helped Virginia State University [VSU] secure a 4-0 win over Virginia Union in their latest CIAA match.
Burrows teamed with Damita Bollers in the number three doubles position, defeating Virginia Union’s Marianna Brooks and Andrea Sanjurjo 6-0 to give VSU the doubles point.
In singles play, Burrows, competing at the number five spot, won 6-0, 6-0 against Maya Mercer, completing a clean sweep for the Trojans.
