Golf: Talcott Cedarberry Bowl Final Results
Arman Newton won the Blue Championship title in the Premier 16-18 Age Division at the Talcott Cedarberry Bowl at Belmont Hills Golf Club.
Newton finished with a total of ten-over par following a final-round four-over-par 74, which included three birdies and eight pars. Johnny Bart placed second at 18-over par with a final-round two-over-par 72. Oliver Betschart placed third after a final round of 80.
In the White Championship Division for the 14-15 Age Group, Antonio Fortuna placed first with a total of 33-over par after a final round of 82, which included one birdie and seven pars.
Darina Betschart, the leading girl in the field, placed second on a scorecard tie-break after a seven-over-par final round brought her total to 39-over par. Charlie Hopkin placed third, also finishing at 39-over par.
In the Red Championship Division, Lewis MacFarlane placed first with a 20-over-par total after a final-round 79 that included two birdies and seven pars. Austin Frank placed second at 55-over par, and Hugo Adams placed third.
