Hockey: BDA Spirits & Positive Image Dental Win
The latest round of Bermuda Ball Hockey action at the PCC Hockey Rink produced 12 goals across two matches, with BDA Spirits and Positive Image Dental recording victories.
CG 2 BDA Spirits 4
BDA Spirits defeated CG 4-2 in the opening match.
Dallas Montgomery gave CG the lead in the first period before Fanie Grenier equalised for BDA Spirits before the end of the period.
Stefan Chamberland scored in the second period to put BDA Spirits ahead.
Montgomery scored his second goal of the match in the final period for CG, but goals from Jeff Loper and Andrew Bonner secured the win for BDA Spirits.
Positive Image Dental 5 Spine & Sport 1
Positive Image Dental defeated Spine and Sport 5-1 in the second match.
Ross Rufiange scored three goals for Positive Image Dental, opening the scoring in the first period and adding a second in the next period.
Sean McNulty also scored in the second period.
Christopher Merritt scored Spine and Sport’s only goal in the final period.
Rufiange completed his hat-trick later in the match, and McNulty added his second goal to complete the scoring for Positive Image Dental.
