U23 Football: Somerset Trojans Defeat Colts 3-1
The Somerset Trojans defeated the Devonshire Colts 3-1 in the Bermuda Football Association Under-23 Division at Bernard Park.
After a scoreless opening half-hour, Keyni Mills gave the Somerset Trojans a 1-0 lead in the 35th minute.
The Trojans doubled their advantage in the 44th minute when Río Russell converted a penalty to make it 2-0 at halftime.
The Devonshire Colts reduced the deficit in the 59th minute through Rajae Whitter.
Somerset restored their two-goal lead in the 76th minute when Jamar Franklin scored to secure the 3-1 victory.
