Bermuda Sailors Finish 7th & 8th At IOD Worlds
Bermudian sailors Kelsey Durham and Peter Bromby finished seventh and eighth overall, respectively, at the International One Design [IOD] World Championship.
Durham made an excellent showing to claim a second-place finish in the final race of the regatta, the result gave Durham and his crew a total of 53 net points, placing them seventh in the 12-team international fleet.
Bromby, a three-time former world champion and Olympian, finished ninth in the final race. His overall position was impacted by equipment issues during the later stages of competition. Bromby and his crew finished the regatta in eighth place overall with 55 net points.
