Sebastian Kempe Wins ILCA Sailing In Canada
Bermudian sailor Sebastian Kempe claimed the ILCA 7 overall title at the 2026 ILCA Canadian Championship in Ontario.
Kempe finished first in the 34-boat ILCA 7 fleet after seven races, recording finishes of fourth, second, third, twelfth, second, first and third. With one discard applied, his twelfth-place finish was dropped, leaving him with 15 net points.
The event was hosted by CORK/Sail Kingston at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, with racing held on Lake Ontario from June 26 to 28.
CORK/Sail Kingston listed Kempe, representing Bermuda, as the ILCA 7 overall winner, ahead of Liam Bruce of Canada and Jacob Townsend of Canada.
