BPS Continue Investigation Into Fatal Boat Crash
The police are continuing their investigation into the marine collision which resulted in the death of 28-year-old Rickai Raynor.
A police spokesperson said, “As the investigation into the marine collision which claimed the life of 28-year-old Rickai Raynor continues, the Bermuda Police Service [BPS] is urging anyone who may have recordings of the race in which the powerboat piloted by Mr. Raynor was involved at the time, to please make contact with us.
“The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2026, in Hamilton Harbour, in the area of Lower Ferry as Mr. Raynor competed.
“Anyone with information that may assist in progressing the investigation, is asked to call Acting Chief Inspector, Anthony Smith on 247-1431 or e-mail asmith@bps.bm
“A BPS Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to assist the family of Mr. Raynor during this difficult time.
“The BPS extends condolences to Mr. Raynor’s relatives and loved ones.”
