Leilanni Nesbeth Makes Debut For Italian Club
Leilanni Nesbeth made her first appearance for Como Women as the Italian side suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat away to Juventus Women in their opening pre-season friendly at the Allianz Training Center in Vinovo.
The talented Bermudian midfielder, who recently joined the team, was named in the starting line-up for the match.
Como took the lead through Veronica Bernardi in the seventh minute, before Emma Stølen Godø equalised for Juventus three minutes later.
The match remained level until second-half stoppage time, when Ana Capeta scored in the 60+1 minute to secure the victory for Juventus.
Como Women will return to action against Swiss side Young Boys at the Montjovet Sports Center in Aosta on July 29.
