Adam Hall Scores Run In Goldeyes Defeat

Bermudian baseball player Adam Hall and the Winnipeg Goldeyes were defeated 9-4 by the Sioux Falls Canaries in the American Association West yesterday [August 19].

Hall drove in a run in the third inning, grounding out to score Peyton Holt as Winnipeg cut Sioux Falls’ lead to 3-1.

Winnipeg rallied in the fourth, with Max Murphy driving in Keshawn Lynch before Hall’s team-mate Peyton Holt put the ball in play, allowing RaphaĆ«l Pelletier to score on a throwing error.

The Goldeyes were within one at 4-3, but Sioux Falls responded with a two-run home run in the bottom of the fourth.

The Canaries added three more runs to secure the victory.

Hall also hit his sixth triple of the season, extending his team lead in the category.
