Kempe 63rd & Patton 106th At Worlds In Ireland
Bermudian sailors Sebastian Kempe and Campbell Patton completed two more races as the Elimination Series began at the 2026 ILCA 7 Men’s World Championship in Dún Laoghaire, Ireland.
Kempe, competing in the Silver Fleet, recorded finishes of seventh and 19th to move into 63rd place overall with 116 net points.
Patton placed 14th and 17th in the Bronze Fleet and sits 106th overall with 157 net points.
The International Laser Class Association said the two scheduled races were completed in rainy conditions, with winds of between eight and 11 knots on Dublin Bay.
The 141-boat international field is scheduled to contest two further races on Friday, with the opening warning signal set for noon.
