Mount Saint Agnes Academy will hold its annual Remembrance Day Service on Monday, November 9, at 8.45am in the MSA Auditorium.

A spokesperson said, “Mount Saint Agnes Academy will hold its annual Remembrance Day Service on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 8:45 a.m. in the MSA Auditorium, bringing together students, staff, invited guests, and members of the wider community to honor the men and women who have served and sacrificed in times of war and conflict.

“A highlight of the ceremony will be the participation of His Excellency the Governor of Bermuda, Mr. Andrew Murdoch CMG, CVO who will offer a reflection and take part in the wreath-laying ceremony alongside Lt. Col. Duncan Simons, Commanding Officer of the Royal Bermuda Regiment and MSA’s Student Council President.

“The program will include remarks from Mia Chambray, a former Mount Saint Agnes student and Hamilton Councilor, who will reflect on Bermuda’s military service and the personal connections many families have to Remembrance Day.

“The service will also feature a prayer led by Bishop Wes, a Scripture reading from the Book of Micah presented by student Aidan Glazebrook, and a reading of the iconic poem In Flanders Fields by students Seamus Stones, Julia Stoppa, and Lukas Booth.”

“Remembrance Day offers an important opportunity for our students to reflect on the sacrifices made by previous generations and to consider their own responsibility to build a more peaceful and compassionate world,” said Principal Anna Faria-Machado. “We are honored to welcome distinguished guests and members of our community as we gather in remembrance.”
