Video: Dr Fred Ming On Bermuda’s Oil Measures

Director of Environmental Protection Dr. Fred Ming spoke today [June 10] at a press conference detailing the measures that Bermuda has, and will, take to protect the island from any potential fallout from the Gulf of Mexico oil spill disaster. Dr Ming recently returned from a seminar in the US where various experts converged to discuss measures to handle the oil disaster.

Measures that Bermuda might utilize taking using a beach comber which can pick up oil off the beaches and placing testing equipment on a ship for testing purposes. Dr Ming said the “preparations are looking pretty good, and we are watching the situation as it unfolds.”
