Photos & Results: High Heel Race
The Pump It Up High Heel race was held at last nights [June 30] Harbour Nights. 15 men from the community donned high heels and did an excellent job raising over $27,000 for the Bermuda Hospitals Charitable Trust. One gentleman, Richard Lightowler, set off in the race at great speed in his high heels, and ended up being carted off by ambulance after a fall
The male participants included; Patrick Bean, Jon Beard, Dr. Gerhard Boonstra, Sen. Walton Brown, Thaao Dill, Lt. Col. Brian Gonzalves, David Hill, Richard Lightowler, Gary Moreno, Dr. Donald Thomas, Scott Pearman, Robin Spencer-Arscott, Robert Steynor, Michael Wellman and Magistrate Juan Wolffe. Mark Anderson aka Sybil won the ‘Best in Show’ award after putting on a fine performance in a stylish pair of ankle strap pink heels.
