Sunday Morning Tropical Storm Update

The US National Hurricane Center’s 5am [Bermuda time] update today [Aug 8] said that Tropical Storm Colin is 120 miles south south-west of Bermuda, and is moving northward towards us at 7 mph, with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph with “little change in strength expected today”.

Bermuda Weather’s 5:30am forecast said “conditions will deteriorate around dawn with the onset of tropical storm conditions expected this afternoon, persisting through tonight.” The next forecast will be provided later this morning.
