Basketball Elite City League Draft Picks

The Bermuda Basketball Association held their first ever draft for a Men’s league under their banner. The draft was the final step of a 2 week process to select 72 of the island’s best basketball talent to participate in their upcoming Elite City League.

The process, which began on the 20th of November, involved three showcase and registration camps held at both Cedarbridge and Somersfield Academies. Over 100 basketball players expressed interest in playing in the league and came out for tryouts. The players received instructions and drills from some of the islands most respected players and coaches, most notably Bermuda’s premier professional basketball player Sullivan Phillips.
