Again, slow down bermuda !! you are impetuous, arrogant, inexperienced and just plain dangerous..your roads are flanked by private land and cannot be widened..there very poorly lit and not maintained at all ..your scooterers are drunkly overtaklng everyone in a ‘third lane’ while full-face helmets remain a oddity…you stop on the crests of hill to say ” whats up bi” while others risk there life to pass you without indicating into the oppisite side of the road..and now your knockin down children ??? your crap drives and it needs to be addressed…the only form of communication while driving is the indicator !! not the horn or some tool hanging out a window shouting ‘ HeyBi heyBi” ……Yes Yes Yes ?????? No no no….driving safely is a postive community change you can actually manage.. without resorting to prayer

You know what luke, how do people drive where you come from? Maybe you should go back there. Yes, there are some bad drivers here but your sweeping comments that everyone in Bermuda is “impetuous, arrogant, inexperienced and just plain dangerous” are completely ignorant…. the big words didn’t help you look smart, just like someone who has a chip on his shoulder and paints all Bermudians with the same brush. And your sarcastic comment about resorting to prayer? Why did you feel the need to say that? What difference does it make to you if people want to say a prayer? If you don’t believe, just have some respect and shut up! You obviously are the arrogant one. You know what, maybe the next time you want to generalise and insult an ENTIRE population, you should wait until the morning, not 1 am after a Friday night??? Just a suggestion.

        @ Seriously?

Consider youself lucky that Luke got his bit in before I did. His rant about our drivers was tame compared to what I would have said.
Yes there are other places with drivers who are nutz but I’ve never seen anywhere with so many out of control, disrespectful , plain unlawful vehicle operators jammed into such a small place as this rock. It’s a national epidemic.
And I’m not painting EVERYONE with the same brush , so don’t get your knickers in a twist.

And how dare you assume Luke is not from here ? My people have been here for 200 years and you wanna assume that I’m a foreigner too ? ? Tool ! !

Furthermore , we don’t know what happened in this case , but best wishes for the little guy’s recovery.

FACT – I know driver and she is very upset about this accident. We must teach/remind our children about crossing the street when there is no pedestrian crossing. Us adults need to be careful as well. Wishing the young man a full recovery and the driver to not be to upset about any comments made about bad drivers.

Hope he is ok.Hope the driver is as well. But some people need to talk more to their kids about safety around the roads as some of them treat it like their bcak yard. Some time they just ride out into the streets and do not look, so with a little more education on road safety maybe they will be more careful. Becareful everyone
