Fairmont Salutes 23 Employees
The Fairmont Southampton has recognized 23 employees for their outstanding performance during the months of December 2011 and January 2012. In a special ceremony held during the hotel’s All Colleague Luncheon on Thursday, February 16th, Fairmont Southampton employees nominated by guests and coworkers for going above and beyond in their duties were recognized as “Memory Makers.”
“When a colleague here at The Fairmont Southampton impresses our guests through their impeccable service and also earns the admiration of those who work alongside them it is a significant accomplishment,” said Rita Healy, Hotel Manager for The Fairmont Southampton.
“Each of today’s Memory Makers has contributed, through their efforts, to making our hotel warm, inviting and accommodating for both our guests and for their coworkers.”
“Particular note must be made of our four Star Colleagues Rafi Shaik, Jaswyn Hardware, Daisy Joell and Aaron Lewis. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts are renowned for the value we place on creating lasting memories for our guests. They have each stood out and are worthy of special praise for their sterling efforts in leading and supporting their teams in providing outstanding service,” continued Ms. Healy.
The Fairmont Southampton “Memory Makers,” are nominated by guests and colleagues at the resort for creating a very special moment that has created a positive and lasting impression. Each Memory Maker received a $50 gift certificate to the store of their choice, and the Star Colleagues received $150 gift certificates.
