Men On Bike Brandish Gun In Hamilton
At around 5.30pm this evening [Feb.23] two men brandished a gun in the area outside the Hamilton Police Station on the corner of Court Street and Victoria Street.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 5:30pm on Thursday, February 23rd police responded to a reported firearm incident in the area of Victoria Street and Court Street in Pembroke.
“It appears that two men on a motorcycle were riding through the area when the pillion passenger brandished what appeared to be a firearm at another motorist.
“No shots were fired and no one was injured. A full investigation is underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses, particularly anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident, to contact the main police number 295-0011 or Crime Stoppers on 800-8477.”

Breaking Nooze.
A cycle with two humans was caught on camera. A Police Spokesperson said they wore dark clothing and tinted visors and the vehicle had two wheels.
A note found 100 yards up the road saying ‘not guilty.
No direction of travel as given.
Police are rewinding tapes to make sure that the vehicle was in fact one. First responders had to be called in since the Police Station is new and it was time to feed the incarserated due to appear in court which is located nearby.
Chief Inspector Jim Court said the public should not be afraid to come in and watch the video and enjoy the new breath test that proves if you have a job, your ok.

I live in a “small” town twice the size of Bermuda and no-one has been murdered or abducted for the five years I’ve lived here. Can’t comment on raped because it is notoriously under-reported.

@ as I see it, guns are still illegal in Bermuda. So the fact that you have one is a crime. The fact that you are waving it in a public place is a crime. The fact that you are taking a chance that the gun could go off and injure innocent people should be a crime. And the I think it should be a crime to be stupid enough to do any of this. The media yes even Bernews are obligated to setting standards. That should have read “Man on bike brandishes gun” or “Men on bike brandish guns.” Big difference. This is one of the reasons cases get thrown out.
Why is it that people always ‘brandish’ a gun. What does it actually mean to ‘brandish’ anyway? Can you ‘brandish anything other than a gun? Or am I ‘brandishing’ my stupidity?
As a good teacher will tell their students no question is a stupid question. Anything considered to be a weapon can be brandished. That being said if these punk cowards brandish anything to me I’ll be brandishing my foot up their backside.

Perhaps when the dark visors get banned we will get reports of young men brandishing dark visors.
If BPS actually enforce a visor law in general with heavy fines like they do the seatbelt law it won’t be a problem. Perpetrators can still hide themselves behind a clear visor just as a dark visor. Plus if there is no visor we can punch them in their mofo face or use tabasco spray on them when they get beside us.
