February 15, 2012

Bermudian jazz legend Shine Hayward will be turning the microphone over to local fans who want to honour superstar Whitney Houston at his Hamilton club tomorrow [Feb. 16].

The club’s regular Karaoke session will be a tribute to the singer who died in Los Angeles on February 11 at the age of 48.

The New Jersey-born recording artist and actress was cited in the 2009 “Guinness Book of World Records” as the most-awarded female performer of all time.

Her awards included two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards, and 22 American Music Awards, among a total of 415 career awards in her lifetime.

Whitney Houston was also one of the world’s best-selling music artists, having sold over 170 million albums, singles and videos worldwide. Her hit singles included “How Will I Know”, Greatest Love of All”, “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)” and her signature song “I Will Always Love You” from the soundtrack of her blockbuster 1992 movie “The Bodyguard.”

“In honour and respect of the valuable life that we have recently lost in our beloved Sister Whitney, we invites you to join us on our regularly scheduled Karaoke night where the focal music will be that of Whitney Houston,” said Mr. Hayward. “Come, share and feel the love that Whitney’s music has brought us for so many years. Admission is free.”

Shine’s is located at 91 Reid Street.

The UBP/OBA is clearly to blame for the loss of Ms. Houston. They will however deny this and attack me as usual.

Before you state that a big bowl of drugs, one should use her experience as a example. And it also shows you that money is the rule of all evil just like the Alumniti so it shows you that if you where in the lime 24/7 and ruled by a bunch of wicked people for e.g free masons, Illuminati you would have turned to a big bowl of drugs to so before you speak about the drugs analyze why people turn to them she has lived her life is your closet clean Latrine Fruitbat.

I truly loved Whitney Houston , but like so many ‘normal people’, Whitney
Probably suffered a traumatic experience along the way throughout her career. Always being in the limelight & having to live up to so many other peoples’ expectations is a set-up for doom !!
Whitney unfortunately did not love &
Believe in herself as much as she would have us all to believe.
I empathize with her , for her life must’ve been a miserable existence !!!
