Man Arrested For DUI After Truck Overturns
Yesterday a 42-year-old-man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after being involved in an accident which saw the truck he was driving overturn on Harrington Sound Road.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 6:45pm on Saturday, March 17th police attended a reported single vehicle collision on Harrington Sound Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Arrowroot Lane.
“It appears that a truck was traveling along Harrington Sound Road when it collided with an embankment and overturned. The truck was extensively damaged as a result.
“The driver, a 42 year old Hamilton parish man, received minor injuries and was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing”
