Photo Set #1: John Lennon Tribute Concert

The John Lennon Tribute Concert was held last night [Sept 21], with a number of international and local artists entertaining the crowd who gathered at the Botanical Gardens.

At the end of the night organizer Tony Brannon took to the stage and said, “I want to thank all the musicians that contributed their performances for charity. I want to thank the production crew, everyone in the sound and lights.

“Let me say something before we bring on the last song. Let me say something….this is a Bermudian night. This is a Bermudian production. A Bermudian sound system,” Mr Brannon continued.

“But we invited a few friends from overseas to help us out. The band and the musicians from England, the band and the musicians from Jamaica…the guys from Barbados….thank you.”

Performers for the evening included the Bermuda School of Music, McCartney K, Joy T Barnum, Johnathan Frith, Christina Frith, Heather Nova, The Von Friths, Bailey & Talluza Tzuke, Judie Tzuke, The Von Tzukes, Paul Muggleton, Bailey Outerbridge, Steve Easton, Mia Chambray, K. Gabrielle, Phil Morrison, Roy Young, Tiffany Paynter, Michael Cacy, Bermuda Folk Club, Chewstick, Uzimon, Biggie Irie, Errol Reid, Robery “Sai” Emery, The Love Singers and Maxi Priest.
