BHI Hosts Student Roundtable/Networking Event
On Tuesday evening, Bermuda Hospitality Institute hosted over 4 dozen students, parents and industry professionals at the Annual Student Roundtable & Networking event which took place at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.
The passion the guest speakers have for the hospitality industry exuded from each of them as they connected with students eager to learn more about the opportunities that exist within the hospitality industry.
“Students were glad to have the opportunity to talk to such important people,” said Karla Lacey, CEO of Bermuda Hospitality Institute. “These professionals happilyvolunteered their time to share their path in the industry.”
Parents were also able to interact with industry professionals, as well as representatives from Bermuda College and Butterfield Bank, on how to support their children’s career goals.
“Parents were amazed at the depth and breadth of industry knowledge in the room and were grateful for the opportunity to gain insight into how they can best guide their children,” said Karla Lacey.
