Meeting Called For BIU Construction Division
The Bermuda Industrial Union [BIU] has called a meeting for members of the BIU Construction Division on Thursday April 25th at 6.00pm at BIU Headquarters. The agenda is listed as “All tradesmen, preparing for work”, and there will be a presentation by Mike MacLean of M&M Construction.

Why can’t more meetings be scheduled in the evening?
The BIU would not dare call a meeting during working hours. Nobody would show up. They know that they would be fired if they walked off the job to go to a union meeting. By the time they came back somebody else would have their job.
