Willow Cuts, St David’s Advance To Cricket Finals
Willow Cut and St David’s have advanced to the Lindo’s Twenty20 Finals after winning their semi finals on Saturday [Sept 21].
St. David’s Win by 4 Wickets: Bailey’s Bay 111 St. David’s Cricket Club 114/6
At the Sea Breeze Oval, St. David’s won the toss and elected to send Bailey’s Bay to bat. Bailey’s Bay were bowled all out for 111, Irving Romaine was the top scorer with 39, while captain Stephen Outerbridge added 28. Rudell Pitcher was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 4-0-17-3 and Delyone Borden bowled 4-1-20-3.
In reply the St. David’s Cricket Club scored 114/6 in 14.4 overs, Pitcher was their top scorer with 44, while Brden added 26. Burton Outerbridge was the pick of the Bailey’s Bay bowlers with figures of 3-0-27-2.
Willow Cuts Win by 1 Wicket: Southampton Rangers 147/4 Willow Cuts 148/9
In the second Semi-Final Southampton Rangers batted first and scored 147/4 in their allotted 20 overs, captain Dion Stovell was the top scorer with 40 before being run out, while Alex Dore added 34. Deunte Darrell had figures of 3-0-9-1 for Willow Cuts, while Kevin Fubler bowled 3-0-17-1.
In reply Willow Cuts scored 148/9 in 19.4 overs, Darrell was the top scorer with 40, while Malachi Jones added 31. The pair put on a 68 run 3rd wicket partnership 3rd wicket, Dore was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers with figures of 4-0-25-3, while Ryan Belboda bowled 4-0-37-2.
