52-Year-Old Man In Critical Condition In ICU
The 52-year-old man that was injured on Friday [Oct 11] in a cycle collision on Harbour Road is in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. The second rider involved in the accident, a 33-year-old Southampton man, is recovering on a general ward.
A police spokesperson said, “At last check the 52 year old male rental cycle rider injured in a reported serious collision that occurred around 5:30pm Friday, October 11th at the junction of Harbour Road and Morgan Road in Warwick was in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital while the other rider involved, a 33 year old Southampton man, was recovering on a general ward.
“Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses that have not already come forward are encouraged to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 295-0011.”

That is one nasty intersection & corner. Making it extra dangerous, as so many corners are, the road is flat with no banking whatsoever. Throw Bermudas deplorable driving habits into the recipe & this is what happens, day after day.
This accident could have totally been avoided.
