TechArt 2103 announced the winners of its seventh annual digital art show now on at the Bermuda Society of Arts gallery in the City Hall, which features art made using digital photography, animation, video and iPads.

All winners received Apple iPads or iPods, courtesy of iClick on Reid Street. The three pieces of art in the slideshow below were created by Chris Marson who won the iPad Art division, Danielle Clark who won the More Pink Bda prize and Alan Smith who won the People’s Choice.

Peter Hebberd, General Manager of AAC Saatchi & Saatchi, who along with The Complete Office and iClick sponsored TECHART, stated, “We are once again very pleased with the number and high standard of entries in the show. Our thanks to all who entered who make it a successful show year after year.”

He added, “We also note the good number of entries from students under 12 and in particular wish to acknowledge the efforts of teachers at Mount St. Agnes, Berkeley Institute and Somersfield Academy who encouraged their students to enter.”

Really? A “created with an iPad” category?

Why not just a digital painting category?

    • Mike Hind says:

Different techniques are needed for each. The iPad is a whole different discipline!
