Photos/Video: North Shore Weather Conditions

November 13, 2013

The island is feeling the effects of a frontal boundary moving across the area, prompting the Bermuda Weather Service to issue a Thunderstorm Advisory and Gale Warning valid for this afternoon [Nov 12] and this evening.

The BWS said, “As the frontal boundary continues to move across the area, strong to gale force winds and occasional showers with the chance for thunder will persist into tomorrow morning.”

The video and photos depicts the weather conditions this afternoon in the Penhurst Park dock area of North Shore in Smiths.

Well done, Bernews, for getting the message that World Rugby Classic was cancelled way before
      any other media.

I think we can finally say TTFN to summer now…………..

And some very supposedly smart CASINO people where talking about putting the Docks on North Shore. Please revamp our educational system … and send them back to school. these people need an education before they make impulsive decisions.

Who in their RIGHT mind would be working at the docks with this type a great seasonal weather. Everyday would be a holiday for about 3 – 4 months of the weather if this was the case. I could not think of what it would do to the cargo vessels that would have to sit in this weather. Dumb. Dumb and dumber. LOL !!!

Do the research before you make stupid decisions that just don’t make common sense. This is the same every year. So it is expected on the North Shore side even at DUCKINGSTOOL.

But the gambling would go on but I don’t think we would get our food supplies and shipment orders.
