Bermuda is now faced with more challenges that we ever had .
    Among our Ecconomic,Education,Trafic,Medical,Bussiness,Child welfare,Policing,Political,Employment problems
we may have overlooked one major problem and it’s how to calm down the temperment of the People.- simply
saying because it could spill over to one of our most vital industries – Tourisum
We don’t need a reputation for having violent people.

    • Joey-Bag-O'doughnuts says:

Well, here is the problem I see. In my day even the neighbor could go upside your head and you behaved and begged the neighbor not to tell your parents. Now, the neighbors beg the punks to not hit them. You take the responsibility from parents and teachers from disciplining the kids and you get what you get.

What was sown years ago with the “new” social engineering you now have to deal with the mess we have today.

There will always be punk activity and behaviour but it was never as prevalent or in your face as it is today.

How many kids get caned in school nowadays? Back then we used to have canings and the kids were more respectful and more well behaved.

My opinions and that’s all these are but the old adage “Spare the rod, spoil the child” is now on full display.

Not condoning fighting to resolve a situation especially in a Public place. But I feel we have to wait and hear the whole story. You never know, maybe the victim did something so terrible to the assailant that the victim may just have needed a wringing slap.

    • #dontspitonpeople says:

Exactly, when you go around spitting on ppl, things are bound to happen.

  11. Concerned says:

Thanks for your very quick response, next time, no sirens because nearly all assembled ran. There should be a police presence on Church Street you can feel the spirit of confusion along the walk and around the bus terminal
