Amateur Match Play Quarter, Semi Final Results
The quarter-final and semi-final matches were played yesterday [Mar 7] in the Bermuda Amateur Match Play Championships at The Mid Ocean Club.
In the Men’s Championship flight the #1 seed and tournament favourite Jarryd Dillas beat Mark Phillips 5 & 4 to progress to the semi-final, but was beaten 4 & 3 by Ben Hodge in the semi-final.
In the Ladies Championship flight, Ebonie Burgess remained in good form beating Tracy Nash 4 & 2 in the quarter-final and Carol Jones in the semi-final. The defending champion Ann Symonds was knocked out by Linda Down in the quarter-final.
In the Senior flight, Max Atherden and Craig Christensen are both through to the final.
