[Updated with video] The 13th annual Walk and Roll event took place today [Mar 22], bringing together members of the community for a 3km, 5km, and 10km walk through the Cooper’s Island Reserve in order to raise money for programs that benefit people with special needs.

A spokesperson said, “This wonderful community event promotes awareness of the need for accessibility and exercise for all and attracts hundreds of walkers, runners, bikers, and wheelchair users of all ages.

“Enjoy this fun 3km, 5km ,or 10km walk that will take you through the scenic Cooper’s Island Reserve, and help us raise money for programs that benefit persons with special needs.”
