Netball League: Teachers & YMSC Earn Wins
The Bermuda Netball Association’s 2014 Summer League season continued at the Bernard Park with a double header that produced 106 goals.
The Teachers defeated the Butterfield Bank 33 – 14. Bismallah Richardson led the Teachers to victory with 19 goals, while Kimale Evans added 10 goals and Tanika White scored 4 times. Nikita Trott scored 6 goals for Butterfield Bank, while Kristn Holman added 5 goals and Stacey O’Brien scored 3 goals.
The Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds defeated BPSU 36 – 23. Thirty goals from Frederica Samuels pushed the Young Men Social Club to victory, while Jasmine Frith added 3 goals and Donnisha Gardner scored once. Alex Dowling scored 19 goals for BPSU, while Marita Grimes added 3 goals and Jameka Talbot scored once.
