Friends of Hospice To Host “Glow In The Dark”
Friends of Hospice wil host the annual Glow Party under the stars at a private home in Point Shares, Pembroke on Saturday, June 28th from 7.00pm until midnight. The fun filled night will include a silent auction, raffle prizes, duck races in the pool, face painting, a photo booth and dancing.
A spokesperson said, “Ticket prices are $25 per person or folks can purchase a table of 10 for $1,000 which equates to $100 each. A lovely buffet dinner and open bar complete the evening.
“Friends of Hospice is the only charity supporting Agape House and palliative care in Bermuda. We promote greater awareness of hospice care in the community, provide financial support and enhance the quality of life for patients, family and friends.
“Supporting the Glow Party will provide us with an opportunity to continue the support of our programmes which include; a full time chef and kitchen to meet the needs of the patients; our Day Hospice programme for mobile clients who can come and spend a day with us and be pampered with massages, participate in art and creative hands on projects; enjoy Reiki, and meditation.
“We also provide a grief counselor for individuals or family groups; patient medications and other supplies not covered by insurance or for those who have maxed out insurance. We have only one chance to get this right and appreciate the continued support of the community.”
