BSOA Hosting Multiple Art Exhibitions

The Bermuda Society of Arts is currently hosting three exhibits which will remain open until August 5, with another unique exhibit set to open on August 8, along with another showing of ‘Our History in Hats‘ by Ronnie Cheameau and Donna Pink.

The BSOA’s ongoing exhibits, set to remain open until August 5, include:

Onions Gallery – BSOA Members’ Summer Show

“While the island waits for the Emancipation celebration, artists from all walks of life continue to speak the language of art. Members of the Bermuda Society of Arts are exhibiting quite a showcase of various mediums that will be sure to please, ” the BSOA said.

Edinburgh Gallery – Pictorial History of Bermuda Hospital Buildings

“The exhibition features reproductions of photos from the Bermuda Archives and other sources.”

Studios A & B – Our History in Hats by Ronnie Cheameau & Donna Pink

“An array of hat styles worn through the ages with images of women in Bermuda wearing similar hats, made from natural materials such as palmetto and coconut palms and banana leaves.”

“The BSOA’s upcoming exhibits, set to remain open until August 26, include:

Onions Gallery – Emerging Artists Show 2014

“The annual ‘Emerging Artists Show’ gives new and developing artists a platform to make their debut and launch their art career. The objective is all about making more art; we are working to stimulate creativity and encourage artists-in–training to join the Society and, most importantly, to exhibit their work.”

Studio A & B – Our History in Hats by Ronnie Cheameau & Donna Pink
