Bailey’s Bay Hand Out $10,000 In Scholarships

other2140825.jpgThe Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club announced a $10,000.00 scholarship package created to provide assistance to aspiring young cricketers who are currently studying abroad.

All recipients selected are members of the Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club Senior team and are abroad at various academic institutions throughout the United Kingdom and the United States.

Delray Rawlins was selected as the recipient of the Presidents Scholarship Recipient Award worth $5,000.00, while Jordan Smith was selected as the Vice President Scholarship Recipient Award worth $2,500.00.

Terryn Fray, Tre Manders, Nyhrobi Carmichael, Dage Minors and Jomei Bean-Lindo were all selected as recipients of the Captain’s Scholarship Award Recipients worth $500.00 each.

Bailey’s Bay President Elton Caisey said, “The management of Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club is pleased to be able to provide these financial rewards as a token of our commitment to the development of these young men as they pursue their sporting ambitions while furthering their education.”

Caisey concluded, “We wish every recipient the best of luck with their studies this fall and hope to receive very positive reports from both on and off the field.”
