Watson.bm, a website launched in April 2014 aiming to make employment opportunities more accessible for those on the island, is continuing to refine its features and capabilities, aiding both employers and employees in helping to facilitate professional connections.

Members of the public are able to create a free account to upload their resume to a profile only viewable to employers. These resume’s are easily searchable by job category or skill set.
“This gives employers the ability to instantly review the resume of any candidate who meets your job’s prerequisites. They are then able to contact the candidate through a single contact button located on their profile. Upcoming cross-compatibility functions will allow applicants in the near future to use Linkedin profiles as a resume option.
“Another tool for job seekers is Watson’s company directory, which features local company listings consisting of all currently known hiring companies on the island as well as basic company facts and contact information to assist in their application decisions. Rounding out the most popular feature list is a bookmark option allowing candidates to save job vacancies into their personal profile for future review.”
