200 Turkeys Distributed During BHCS Give-Away
On Saturday [Dec 20], Bermuda HealthCare Services [BHCS] distributed nearly 200 turkeys during the company’s Annual Turkey Give-Away.
Started two years ago in an effort to assist with Bermuda’s less fortunate during the Christmas season, BHCS decided to forgo their annual Christmas party in favor of giving back to the community.
This year, BHCS partnered with Interisland Communications to identify 100 recipients of turkeys with the remainder given to patients of Bermuda HealthCare Services and Brown-Darrell Clinic.
Founder and Executive Chair Dr. Ewart Brown remarked, “It is a very special pleasure to give back to our community especially at the holiday season. Together with Interisland Communications we have helped to make Christmas a bit brighter and a bit less stressful for families.”
“Whether through our Annual Turkey Give-Away, sponsorship of elite Bermudian athletes, our support of PHC or our scholarships to medical students, it is our intention to support our community and through our example encourage wider corporate support for the people of Bermuda.”
