Uncorked Wine Tasting Event Set For Dec 18

December 15, 2014

Uncorked, a wine tasting event with a focus on charity, is set to take place on December 18, 2014 at the Bermuda Society of Arts at City Hall.

The event, sponsored by Burrows, Lightbourn Ltd, will take place from 6.00pm through 9.00pm, with tasting training at 6.45pm and wine and prize areas opening at 7.00pm.

Event organizer Cushi Ming said, “Get ready for the most unique wine tasting these pink shores have even seen. All the stops are being pulled to create an amazing and fun event that is oozing sophistication all over the place.

“Uncorked is a new concept of wine pairing where the focus is not so much on matching a great wine with great food – don’t get us wrong, there will be food – but more so matching great wine with great experiences.

“Guests will indulge in palatable selections of wine with delicious and unique hors d’oeuvres to compliment.

“The night is sure to be full of fun, laughs, and great conversation.”

“A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Raleigh Bermuda to aid in their continued efforts to develop Bermuda’s young people by allowing them to make a global impact.”

The evening will also feature an extra upscale experience, with 30 spots available for the Connoisseur’s Club at $100 each.

Mr. Ming said, “The Connoisseur’s Club is the most exclusive way to spend the evening. We treat our Connoisseurs like royalty. You’ll get access to CC only treats.

“Try a variety of exclusive wines in order Private Cellar Tasting. Get a chance to win the best prize of the night with a raffle for a prize only available to you. And try your luck once at the cork pull for free.

“You’ll also have your name featured in our section Thank You at the event. And to make sure we leave a lasting impression, you’ll get something special to take home with you.”
