Police Confirm: Shooting In Sandys, No Injuries
[Updated with video] There are reports of gunshots being fired this evening [Jan 13] in Sandys, with multiple unofficial reports indicating that shots were fired. The police are on scene, and while further details are limited at this time, we will update as able.
Update 10:58pm: The police have confirmed that a shooting occurred at around 9.40pm, in the area off of Soundview Road, and said forensic evidence confirms a gun was discharged, however no one appears to have been injured.

Update 11.16pm: A statement from the police said, “Around 9:40pm on Tuesday, January 13th police responded to reports of gunshots in the Heath Lane, Sandys parish area off Sound View Road.
“Forensic evidence collected at the scene confirmed that a firearm had been discharged; however there have been no reported injuries at this time.
“Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses or persons with information regarding this confirmed firearm incident should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.”

time – (1) it would be a lot cheaper by 60% (2) Jamaica could also use the money (3) it will be 100% harsher that’s for sure.
