Cybersecurity Event At BUEI On Wednesday

IBM Security experts will be in Bermuda next week to host a Security Briefing on Wednesday [Feb 11] at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute on Crow Lane.

Topics that will be discussed at this executive breakfast event include Cybersecurity trends, risks, and strategies to combat advanced internal and external threats against organizations in Bermuda.

According to Norman John, IBM Security Executive, “Cybersecurity is one of the most complex problems organizations face today. As we have seen in recent local headlines, Bermuda businesses are not immune to this problem.

“The Internet of Things, referred to as IOT, is adding further complexity to the security problem as more connected devices proliferate in and around the organization and as more computing gets moved to the Cloud.”
