PHC To Host Good Friday Fun Day On April 3rd
On Good Friday, April 3, 2015 PHC will host its second annual Community Fun Day, which will kick off with a 1 mile Run/Walk from Lindo’s in Warwick to the PHC Field, followed by a day full of fun for the whole family at the PHC field, Middle Road, Warwick.
“The 1 Mile Run/Walk will start at 9:00 am at Lindo’s Warwick and end at the PHC field. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in each category: Primary School, Middle School, High School, Adult and Masters [over 50],” a spokesperson said.
“Register at RaceDayWorld.com or at the Sports Seller in Washington Mall. Entry fees are $10 for adults and $5 for those under 18.
“Following the race, a full day of fun is planned at PHC Field. From 10am-7pm all of Bermuda is invited to join in the fun with family and friends. Planned activities include fun castles, mechanical bull rides, kite flying, Gombeys, 5-a-side Football, Tug-O-War, music by DJ Chubb and much more!
“Sponsors for PHC Community Day events include Coca-Cola and the Lindo’s Group of Companies.
“Last year’s event was a big success and we had a great turnout. This year we are hoping to build on that momentum with another family-friendly event that the whole community can enjoy” said PHC’s President, Jonathan Ball.
“PHC has achieved a lot in the past year, we have worked extremely hard to get our home field back open for senior football matches. We look forward to more progress and the continued positive impact on the community in the years to come. The 2015 Community Fun Day is the perfect opportunity where we can all come together revel in our unique culture and traditions.
Pembroke Hamilton Club is a community sports club based in Warwick Parish, Bermuda, playing in the Bermuda Football Association Premier Division. The PHC Foundation [Charity #727] has been established to provide support to the youth athletic program, education program, and scholarship program for PHC.
