The follow supports my plea to have a sub fire station within the proximity of the Ole Towns historical buildings as well as them residents living in St. George’s.

Granted, it had been a brush fire this time but, what had it not been a brush fire and a residence or God forbid, a line of historical buildings? A fire like that can / will spread far too quickly for the Clearwater Fire Dept. to arrive from Clearwater to combat this or any other fire.
There has to be a better way. (May be some form of Taxing on the land owners / business etc. on that side of the bridge?
