Police Appeal Continues For Stolen Suzuki Car

June 23, 2015

Police continue to seek the public’s assistance in locating a white Suzuki Wagon R — license plate number 05425 — that was removed from Riddell’s Bay public dock in Warwick sometime between 8pm Saturday, June 20th and 9:30am Sunday, June 21st.

“Members of the public who may have seen this vehicle recently should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 at the earliest opportunity,” a police spokesperson said.

Yesterday the police said, “This is the seventh car reported stolen since May 1st 2015, with the previous six being subsequently recovered. The Bermuda Police Service is aware that in many of these instances, the vehicles were left insecure with the keys somewhere inside.

“Therefore, members of the public are reminded to secure their vehicles properly before leaving them unattended for any length of time.”

I hope the prick that is stealing these cars gets caught, and dealt with harshly. 2+ years in jail for every car stolen.

Two years that’s all that’s definitely not enough… Ppl that steal need to do way more time. My bike got stolen today in broad day light in the heart of the city of Hamilton. I don’t have a heart for any thief, ppl work hard for the things they have and here they come wanting things the easy way. Seriously the time they serve is not good enough for me. They steal everything and feel no way n we are here slapping them on the wrist. So they can go west gate to watch tv in a cell. I can’t play with this system ppl out here doing dumbness n we slap them on the wrist
