Richardson Wins Cricket Sportsman Award
The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] confirmed that the winner of the Chivas Cricket Sportsman Award for week 6 is Russell Richardson of the BCB National U18 squad.
The BCB said, “Russell Richardson has served as the team manager for the National U18 squad for 2 years. This position is completely voluntary.
“Despite the fact that the U18 is a year-round program Russell selflessly works over 30 hours each week to ensure that no stone is left unturned in the quest to improve the playing performances and character building activities of the young men in his charge.
“Earlier this month, Bermuda hosted the ICC U19 World Cup Qualifier and Russell took on the dual role of Tournament Director in addition to his team manager duties.”
