Man Seriously Injured In Collision In Warwick
A man has sustained what the police said were “life threatening” injuries following a collision this evening [July 26] in Warwick, which saw members of the public render assistance by lifting the car off the victim.
Police Media Manager Dwayne Caines said, “At 6.50pm police responded to a report of a collision that took place on South Road in Warwick abour 25 metres east of Warwick Long Bay. It appears that a 28-year-old Pembroke man was travelling east when he collided with the car.
“Police would like to thank members of the public who rendered assistance by lifting the car off of the victim. The man was taken to KEMH where his condition is considered life threatening.
“Police are asking for the public’s patience as traffic in the area is currently being diverted as the scene is being processed by Forensic Support Officers and Traffic Collision Investigations,” Mr Caines added.
