Photos: Somerset Wins Annual Mini Cup Match
In what could be taken as a good omen by some locals who are fans of the red and blue, Somerset won the 2015 Mini Cup Match this afternoon [July 21], which was hosted by the Department of Youth and Sports at the North Field of the National Sports Centre in Devonshire.
Somerset defeated the St. George’s team with a score of 86 for 3. Top scorer for Somerset was Sincere Hall with 18 runs. St. George’s batted first and scored 85 for 8 in their allotted 25 overs. Top scorer for St. George’s was Jutorie Burgess with 12 runs.
