Junior ‘Scientist’ Ming Sentenced To Time Served

August 10, 2015

51-year-old Junior ‘Scientist’ Ming appeared in Magistrates Court this morning [Aug 10], where he was sentenced to time served on charges of using offensive language.

Mr Ming first appeared in Court last month, and when he returned to Court this morning he pleaded guilty to charges involving offensive and threatening words in July 2015.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo accepted the plea, and sentenced Mr Ming to the prison time served while he was on remand.

During this morning’s proceedings, Mr Ming told Magistrate Tokunbo: “I’ve been up to Westgate and they gave me medication. I feel 100% better now.”

In passing sentence, the Magistrate commented that Ming’s behaviour this morning was far better than it had been on his previous appearance and that it appeared that he was in a much better state.

The Magistrate told Mr Ming: “The little bit of time in Westgate will be your sentence. I’ll let you go. Behave yourself.”
