Harness Pony Racing Boxing Day Results

Vesey Street was a centre of activity as Harness Pony Racing drew a large crowd on Boxing Day. The day saw the track record for the season broken and then broken again by two drivers and ponies. During the Best of Three Aged racing Race 12, Lucas Bridges in the bike of Brona’s Mike was clocked at 1:03/4.

But then in the 17th race of the afternoon, Best of Three 3 Year Old’s race IC’s Shakedown with Colin Mello in the bike clocked 1:03/3, which was equaled in race 18 the Best of Three 4 Year Old’s race with Cherokee’s Ironman and Tyler Lopes recording the same time. GV Crystal Ball with birthday girl Andrea Westerfield in the bike also recorded a time of 1:03/4.

In the Opening race of the afternoon Shady’s Liberty with Candyce Martins in the bike took the line honors in the 1:09/3 – 1:10/3 Division Time Bar Class clocking a time of 1:10 flat, with Pastor Paul and David Lopes finishing second in 1:11 flat.

The 1:07/2 – 1:09/2 Division Time Bar Class, saw visiting driver Dale Miller from Indiana in the bike of Tee Time hold off Keith Woodley in the bike of Brona’s Girl to finish first with a time of 1:12 flat, with Woodley clocking 1:12/3.

The next race was a combined race, with Miller in the bike of Itsallaboutme winning the 1:04/4 & Faster Time Bar Class recording a time of 1:05/9, while Lucas Bridges in the bike of Colonel’s Maestro took the line honors in the 1:06/1 – 1:07/1 Time Bar Class with a time of 1:06/4. Real Ladylike with Dylan DeSilva in the bike finished second in 1:07/8 and Ryan Burrows in the bike of Skyway Majestic finished third clocking 1:08/5.

In another 1:06/1 – 1:07/1 Time Bar Class, LR’s Last Chance with Aaron Madeiros in the bike finished first recording a time of 1:09/1, with Inwood’s Generation and Casey Truran finishing in second clocking 1:09/2 and Approved Credit with Kiwon Waldron in the bike finished third clocking 1:09/4.
