Goslings Set To Host Free NFL-Themed Party
Goslings is getting set to host a free party for the public on Saturday, April 16 in honour of the second annual Bermuda Golf Classic NFL Invitational.
The party, which will begin at 1.00pm and continue until dark, will include food, drinks, and Goslings rum for purchase, with “nearly 1,000″ of the participating NFL players’ trading cards available free with any size donation amount.
A spokesperson said, “Flights carrying NFL Hall of Famers, Super Bowl Champions, and Pro Bowl All-Stars have landed at L.F. Wade International Airport as players visit Bermuda to participate in the second annual Bermuda Golf Classic NFL Invitational, presented by Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa and played at Port Royal Golf Course in Bermuda.
“On Saturday, April 16, the NFL golfers will be at Port Royal Golf Course participating in the Pro-Am portion of the Bermuda Golf Classic, an event through which funds are raised to be donated to Bermuda’s Family Centre organization.
“Goslings Rum, a major sponsor of the island’s most prestigious celebrity event, has introduced a new fundraising concept which will take place during their annual “Party On 16”, at Port Royal’s signature hole.
“The Goslings party is open to the public free of charge beginning at 1 PM and continuing until dark. Bella Vista Bar & Grill will have food, drinks, and of course Goslings Rum available for purchase. As an additional fundraising opportunity, Goslings has secured nearly 1,000 of the participating NFL player’s trading cards which will be available free with any size donation amount.”
“Our goal with the Pro-Am portion of our event is to raise funds for local charities, which is primarily done through a silent auction and dinner held the night before the event,” said Brady Whittingham, one of the event organisers.
“I think what Goslings has done here is amazing. I’m imagining now how fun it will be for spectators to get their hands on these trading cards, and actually meet the players pictured on the cards, get autographs, and take pictures with them with one of the world’s most beautiful golf holes in the background.”
“Among the trading card collection are 25 Jerry Rice and 25 Chris Doleman cards, which will be given to the first 50 people who stop by the donation table, which will be located on the upper tee box overlooking hole 16.”
