Man Fined For Breeding Dogs Without Licence
Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [April 13], a 30-year-old man was fined for keeping and breeding Doberman Pinschers without a licence.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo fined Jahki Dillas a total of $1,500 after Mr Dillas admitted that between a date unknown and July 2015, without a license or permission, he had bred the dog which resulted in four puppies.
He also admitted that between the same dates, he had kept an unlicensed female and a male.
In July 2015, responding to information, the Animal Warden attended Mr Dillas’ residence and seized the animals.
Mr Dillas was fined $500 on each of the three charges.
